Theology Tuesday is designed to be a faithful conversation between the minister and the church members. It is a way for everyone, the minister included, to engage Sunday’s Scripture through dialogue. We know that our journeys of faith are not disconnected from the rest of our lives. They are also influenced by current events and larger conversations happening in our culture at that time. more
This is why each Theology Tuesday at Midway Christian concludes with a question. It invites everyone to also share their insights, their questions, their thoughts about the text for Sunday as well.
As people of faith, we know that we are called to continue growing in our understanding of Scripture and how it relates to our everyday lives. We believe that the Bible is a living document, which means that the Spirit of God is still speaking to us through it today. It is as relevant to us now as it was some two thousand years ago when the people of God first heard these stories found in our sacred text.
The sermon associated with each Theology Tuesday can be found in the Sermon Library.
